Jewett Construction to open Maine office … and more

Mike Martel has joined municipal engineering firm Quantum Construction Consultants LLC, Concord, vice president and senior project engineer. Martel has over 25 years of experience in structural engineering. 

 

Andrew Gray, a project engineer for the Portsmouth division of TFMoran Inc., has passed the professional engineer exam and is now a licensed civil engineer. Gray, a Certified Professional in Sediment and Erosion Control, septic system design, has over 10 years of experience in civil project management, permitting, construction inspection and oversight and geotechnical investigations. 

 

Raymond-based Jewett Construction Company has hired Jon Siroisof Gray, Maine, as general manager of Maine operations. The firm will be opening a new office in Scarborough, Maine, in the summer. 

 

Danvers, Mass-based Hancock Associates has hired Jared Johnson of Pelham, NH, as project surveyor in the firm’s land surveying department. He is based in the firm’s Chelmsford, Mass., office. 

 

Pro Star Aviation recently opened the doors of its new 45,000-square-foot hangar and shop in Londonderry. Proconof Hooksett designed and built the new 30,000-square-foot hangar and 15,000 square feet of adjoining space featuring offices, conference rooms, support area, a pilot’s lounge and a employee cafeteria. 

 

The architectural and engineering firm of H.L. Turner Group, Concord, recently participated in the groundbreaking of the 13,000-square-foot expansion of the John H. Whitaker Place senior center in Penacook. Construction of the $2.5 million project is expected to be completed in October. Upon completion, the addition will bring the total number of units to 72. Occupancy is slated for October of 2018. Milestone Construction & Engineeringis general contractor.

 

Jennifer Riordan,John Macolini and Erik Roslerhave joined the Concord office GM2 Associates Inc. Riordan will head the environmental services unit while Macolini and Rosler are joining the land survey and highway design groups, respectively.

 

Shawn Kelleyhas joined Concord-based Sanborn, Head & Associates as a project director in the Burlington, Vt., office. Kelley is a professional engineer with 20 years of geotechnical engineering experience on a wide range of development projects.
