Great NH Restaurants plans new Bedford eatery, CRDC’s Boulanger honored by SBA … and more
NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire recently recognized Richard Clegg of Manchester|!!| center|!!| for six years of service to the nonprofit organization as a member of the board of directors. Clegg accepted a plaque from Robert Tourigny|!!| left|!!| executive director|!!| and Kerrie Diers of Normandeau Associates|!!| chair of the board.

Cobb Hill Construction Inc., Concord, has been awarded the contract to renovate the Haas Dental Office in Derry. A lower-level renovation will include additional hygiene rooms, a records room, orthodontic area with three chairs and a private office. Project manager is Paul Beaudet.


Red Oak Apartment Homes has opened a 4,700-square-foot co-working space in the Daily Mirror building at 66 Hanover St. in downtown Manchester. The new Red Oak Coworking Offices feature multiple workspace options, plans and pricing for professionals who work outside of a corporate environment.

“Manchester is exploding with strong, creative entrepreneurs and small, growing businesses,” said Ron Dupont, President of Red Oak Apartment Homes. “When commercial space became available on the second floor of Red Oak’s Daily Mirror building, we knew this was our opportunity to launch a venture that would support and encourage the development of these young businesses. They are the future of this city.”

The space was designed by Stibler Associates of Bedford, and furnished by Officeworks New England of York, Maine.


Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate|The Masiello Group has leased 6,152 square feet of space at Bethany Commons in Bedford. Doug Martin of Colliers International’s Manchester office represented the landlord, Riley Enterprises, and assisted the lessee. Acquired by Riley in 2017, Bethany Commons is 100 percent leased and undergoing a full renovation of the common areas and grounds.


Jennifer D. Boulanger of Concord-based Capital Regional Development Council has been named U.S. Small Business Administration’s New Hampshire 2018 Financial Services Champion of the Year Boulanger has over 25 years of commercial lending experience in New Hampshire and for the last 12 years has worked with the Belknap County Economic Development Council and CRDC. The NH Housing Finance Authority recently named St. Mary’s Bank a Top 10 Lender for the seventh straight year. Karen Mayrand, senior vice president and director of residential lending at St. Mary’s, said the recognition “demonstrates our commitment to first-time homebuyers around the state, and we are deeply proud to be named a top lender once again.”


Great NH Restaurants, owner and CEO of T-BONES, CJ’s, Cactus Jack’s and the Copper Door, has unveiled plans to develop a new restaurant concept at the former location of Shorty’s Mexican Restaurant on Route 101 in Bedford.

Tom Boucher, CEO of the firm, said the “location will be perfect for one of the concepts,” adding that “it won’t conflict with our other popular concepts, Copper Door, T-BONES or CJ’s.”

The existing location will undergo extensive renovations with plans to open in the summer of 2019.
