Aries Engineering’s Donahue announces retirement … and more
Michael P. Donahue, president of Aries Engineering Inc., Concord, has announced plans to retire as an officer and director of the firm on Dec. 31. Donahue, who has worked at the firm for nearly 30 years, said, “It’s time to move on and transfer Aries’ leadership to a new generation. I look forward to working with Aries’ seasoned management team, Katy Ward, George Holt and Peter McGlew during the transition period and to being available as an advisor after retiring as president.”
The Seacoast Board of Realtors has installed Todd Hudson as its 2017 president. Hudson is co-founder and CEO of Red Post Realty in Portsmouth.
Also installed as officers of the Seacoast Board were president-elect, Karen Kulberg, Better Homes and Gardens Masiello Group; treasurer, Harry Cheney, RE/MAX On the Move; secretary, Barbara Lemieux, Seacoast Board of Realtors executive officer; and past president, Linda Ruppe, RE/MAX On the Move.

United Property Holdings LLC of Manchester has purchased the 2,470-square-foot office building at 1892 Elm St., Manchester, NH. Tom Dickson, commercial real estate agent for Stebbins Commercial Properties Inc., represented the Owner, Carol Williams Family Trust of Bedford. Michael Caouette of Keller Williams Realty Metro represented the buyer. According to the Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $345,000.
Brookstone Builders Inc., Manchester, has been selected to perform a retail tenant-space improvement project at the Northway Plaza Shopping Center in North Conway. The scope-of-work includes a new storefront and construction of interior demising walls. Some electrical and demolition work will also be involved.
Mark Gemmiti will serve as Brookstone’s project manager.
The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Manchester recently presented a $500 donation to Liberty House, which provides substance-free housing to veterans transitioning out of homelessness. The donation was made through the company’s charitable foundation, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.
Hinsdale selectmen recently approved a “Complete Streets” policy. The Southwest Region Planning Commission assisted the town in developing the policy as part of its work with the Partnerships to Improve Community Health initiative, a collaboration of Healthy Monadnock partners funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Hinsdale is the fourth town in the Monadnock Region to adopt a Complete Streets policy; Keene, Swanzey and Troy also have Complete Streets policies in place.
