CBRE|Portsmouth has announced the sale of 218 Griffin Rd., Portsmouth, for $3.535 million. Buyer of the 34,704-square-foot industrial building was Griffin Rd. Realty. Seller was Elder Family Portland Associates, LP. The property is leased on a long-term basis to FedEx. Kent White of CBRE|Portsmouth and Brian Doherty and David Pergola Jr. of CBRE|New England represented the seller.


David Lamothe of Manchester has been promoted to associate principal in the Bedford office of environmental and geotechnical consulting firm GZA.


Concord Commercial Real Estate has announced the sale of land at the corner of Route 106 and 129 in Loudon. Brenda Litchfield of Concord Commercial marketed the property on behalf of the seller, the estate of Harry S. Hill. The buyer, Maple Tree Trust and Alan Bissonette, represented by Eddie Lassonde of Home Key Realty, will establish the headquarters for New England Ladders, a specialty ladder business, at the .20-acre property. According to town records, the property sold for $120,000.


The NH Division of Historical Resources has announced that the Bolduc Block in Conway has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. The building is significant both for its architecture and as an example of an early 20th century mixed-use commercial space, said the agency.

A long-standing local landmark that replaced several buildings destroyed by fire in 1923, the Bolduc Block was designed to have four shops and a theater on the first floor and offices on the second. It was home to the first purpose-built movie theater in Conway.


Office Interiors of Dover, NH recently completed the public lobby at Long Term Care Partners’ facility 100 Arboretum Drive at the Pease Tradeport. The formerly vacant space has been transformed with new finishes and furnishings.


DeStefano & Associates, Portsmouth, recently completed the interior fit-up of a new 7,000-square-foot full-service Margaritas Restaurant in Northborough, Mass. Whitlock Design Group of Waltham, MA was the architect for this project.


The Kalwall Corporation has added Toffee Shamatta to its New England sales staff. In addition to Boston, Shamatta will be responsible for Kalwall sales in most of eastern Massachusetts, including the South Shore and Cape Cod and the Islands.


4 Executive Park Drive Realty LLC has announced the sale of a 1.7-acre parcel at the site of the former Merrimack Hotel and Conference Center in Merrimack to WoodSpring Suites for the development of a 124-room extended-stay hotel.

The sale represents the first phase of redevelopment at the 16.8-acre site, said Robert B. Singer, a principal of 4 Executive Park Drive Realty. The company purchased the property in June 2015 after it had remained vacant for nearly 10 years.

“We’re excited about the redevelopment of this property, as it is in the town’s 2013 Master Plan as located in the Merrimack Opportunity Zone, which is recognized as having the most promising revitalization or redevelopment potential,” Singer said.

According to Singer, 4 Executive Park Drive Realty, LLC is exploring different options for additional redevelopment at the site, which is located off Exit 11.


Greg McCarthy of Hooksett has been promoted to team leader of Keller Williams Realty Metropolitan. McCarthy has been a Realtor for 17 years and is co-owner of the Erwin-McCarthy Team at Keller Williams in Bedford with partner Kelly Erwin.
