More leases at Portwalk, Masiello’s national ranking … and more

Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC has leased 4,577 square feet of office space and Raymond James & Associates Inc. has leased 2,489 square feet space in the final phase of Portwalk Place in downtown Portsmouth. Both tenants are expected to occupy their new offices on or about Sept. 1s, according to CBRE|Portsmouth, which announced the leases.

According to the firm, 2,990 square feet of office space remain available at Portwalk Place.

Kent White and Christian Stallkamp of CBRE|Portsmouth represented the owner in the transactions. Matthew Cardente of Cardente Real Estate represented Steward Partners Global Advisory and James Halepis of DTZ represented Raymond James and Associates.

The annual industry survey ranks brokerage firms across the country according to closed sales volume and closed transaction sides.

Mike Simoneau has joined Eckman Construction, Bedford, as marketing manager. He has a decade of diverse marketing experience, including three years of working in commercial construction with an industry leading flooring manufacturer.

 

Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors, Raymond, recently completed renovations at the Walmart Regional Distribution Center in Raymond.

The project included the structural reinforcement of roof joists to support a new conveyor system. All work was completed while this busy 24-hour facility was in full operation. Extensive safety protection measures were employed to protect staff, customers and equipment at all times.

 

Richard Drapeau of Rochester has been named clerk of works for the $13.1 million East Rochester School renovation project.

Drapeau, who has 42 years of construction background, will work for the city to ensure that the renovation project is done according to the architectural specifications on the approved site plans, according to Superintendent Michael Hopkins.

 

Jamie L. Gillon has joined Bedford-based Berard Martel Architecture as a project captain.
