At an induction ceremony that took place at the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of Realtors office, 29 new agents took the pledge as Realtors. Michelle Gilpatrick of Rollinsford has joined Bean Group’s Dover office. She has been in the real estate business since 2005 and also has previous experience working for two general contractors. In addition, Jeff Levine has joined the company’s Portsmouth. He has been selling real estate in New Hampshire and Maine since 2003. And Marianna Vis, who has over a decade of real estate experience, has joined the company in its Bedford office.
More than 1,000 high school students from throughout the state met last month at the Hillsborough County 4H Youth Center in New Boston to take part in the sixth annual NH Construction Career Days. The two-day program, spearheaded by the Granite State Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, gives students a hands-on look at various career opportunities available to them in the construction industry. Some 65 exhibitors provided demonstrations, from running an excavator to welding to a driving simulator for heavy equipment.
North Branch Construction, Concord, has completed a 5,750-square-foot, two-story, wood-framed duplex for St. Paul’s School. The duplex on Sawmill Road on the school’s campus has two detached garages and two screened porches and is providing housing for faculty members and their families. ICON Architecture of Boston provided design for the project.
New Hampshire-based nonprofits engaged in affordable housing activities may be eligible for grant funding through New Hampshire Housing’s Emerging Opportunities Program. The program encourages and supports innovative new initiatives related to affordable housing and is now accepting applications.
Initiatives must be directly related to an improvement in an organization’s structure, leading to long-term sustainability of the organization, a substantial expansion of existing services, or the addition of new services. Funds cannot be used for the construction of new affordable housing.

CPA Matt Nadeau of Nathan Wechsler & Co, Concord, has been appointed to the Associated Builders and Contractors Young Professionals board.
The sale of 224-226 Main St., Nashua, to Michael George of Charron Medical has been announced by Mark Prolman of Prolman Realty, who represented the seller, the Gregory S. Coronis Revocable Trust. The 8,600-square-foot building is rented except for 4,200 square feet, which will be occupied by Charron Medical. The space formerly was occupied by Coronis Cleaners.
