Roche sees big 2013, retirement community sale … and more

Roche Realty Group Inc., with offices in Meredith and Laconia, has reported sales volume in excess of $103 million for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2013. The firm said that represents an increase of 30 percent in sales volume and unit sales compared to the previous 12 months. Frank Roche, president of the firm, said the company had a strong showing in waterfront sales as well as the semi-retirement and second-home markets.

 

The sale of Fox Den Retirement Community to Evergreen Health Group LLC has been announced by Brenda Litchfield of Concord Commercial Real Estate.  Fox Den is a 32-bed assisted living facility in Sandown that has been operated by Steven and Cynthia Patterson since 1996. Brenda Litchfield and Attorney Daniel Kalinski represented the Pattersons in the sale.

 

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Center Harbor, has that announced Kathryn Aitken, a longtime agent in the Lakes Region, has joined its team.

 

Concord-based North Branch Construction donated some $3,525 to Community Bridges, a nonprofit serving disabled individuals and their families, through proceeds from the firm’s Safety Fine Program. The safety program requires subcontractors as well as North Branch’s own employees to abide by OSHA construction industry regulations at all times. North Branch and Community Bridges are currently working together on the START respite house in Boscawen.

 

John Hoyt, executive director of Concord Housing + Redevelopment has been named to a statewide commission on housing issues. The 30-member board was created with the passage of Senate Bill 185.
