Anne Jamieson, vice president of operations at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass., has been named the new chief executive officer of Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
William Schuler, president and CEO of Portsmouth Regional Hospital, has been serving as Parkland’s interim CEO.
Jamieson has spent the last 29 years in the health-care industry, the last seven at Anna Jaques, where she was responsible for all clinical departments, including nursing, and all in-house legal work as the hospital’s general counsel.
She had previously served as practice director of Cerner Corp.’s Southwest Region, working on the design and implementation of information systems architecture for large medical health systems and networks.
