Central New England Orchid Society is now an official affiliated member of the American Orchid Society. With this recognition, CNEOS will be able to take advantage of the AOS educational programs and materials as well as other benefits.
Because of a busy show schedule and the Thanksgiving holiday, the November meeting of the society will be held on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m., at the public library. Affiliated Societies information will be available, and the program will include a slide show, a grow-and-show discussion and the second of People’s Choice Plant Judging.
Members who have plants to exhibit for either the Massachusetts Orchid Society Show on Nov. 4-7, or the Ocean State Orchid Society Show on Nov. 18-21, should call 654-5070 as soon as possible. CNEOS has reserved 25 square feet of exhibit spaces for each show.
