An industrial park on the west side of North Hampton could be in the works.
The town’s Economic Development Committee is looking at the possibility of creating the facility, according to a report in the Portsmouth Herald.
The newspaper reported that the area under consideration is located adjacent to the Stratham Industrial Park off Route 111.
The committee was charged with developing ideas for bringing commercial enterprises into the community that would contribute more in tax revenues, according to the Herald.
Selectman Larry Miller said discussions about building an industrial park were "very preliminary.”
