Nominees sought for Employment Leadership Awards
The awards honor employers whose inclusive policies and hiring practices allow people with disabilities to fairly compete for employment
Nominations are being sought for the 2013 Employment Leadership Awards, which recognize organizations for their commitment to employing workers with disabilities.
Presented by the New Hampshire Development Disabilities Council, the state Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Department of Health and Human Services, the awards honor employers whose inclusive policies and hiring practices allow people with disabilities to fairly compete for employment.
Nominees are evaluated based on their efforts to create opportunities that assist people with disabilities to develop the skills they need to obtain competitive employment, adopt inclusive hiring practices that allow people with disabilities to fairly compete for employment and engage community partners to become a more diverse workplace.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, June 21, and will only be accepted by email at Jim.Hinson@doe.nh.gov.
