Nominations sought for 19th Construction Ethics Award
Deadline for submissions is Dec. 2
Nominations are being sought for the 19th annual New Hampshire Construction Industry Ethics Award, which is presented to “the individual, business or organization that, through its words and deeds, best demonstrates a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in construction.”
The award carries with it a $1,000 cash contribution to the recipient’s charity of choice.
Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 2, with the recipient to be announced in April 2015.
The award’s sponsor, David “Woody” Wood of Deering, a nationally known writer and newsletter publisher, said, “The award is not limited to contractors. The recipient can just as well be an architect, owner, subcontractor or private individual. What’s important is that this entity has taken an action or pattern of actions that exemplify the highest level of integrity and adherence to ethical behavior involving construction.”
Guidelines for nominating deserving individuals and/or companies may be obtained by contacting Wood at 800-439-9663 or woody@wordsfromwoody.com.
