NH’s Mercurial Aid

To the editor:

In the article, “NH’s mercurial aid to towns” (Feb. 1-14 NH Business Review), Michael Kitch did an excellent job detailing the fiscal problems faced by our towns and cities with the failed promises and commitment of our state in delivering state aid funds.

I believe an issue just as important is the legislation and agency rules-making process that force our towns to implement and follow, but come with no supporting funding .
