NHBR About Town: NHBR’s Health Care Forum

More than 300 people attended NHBR’s third annual Health Care Forum on Thursday, Oct. 13, which was presented in partnership with MVP Health Care at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The event included a networking breakfast, a panel with regional health care experts and a keynote address by T.R. Reid, an acclaimed journalist who has covered foreign affairs for The Washington Post, authored nine books and is a frequent contributor to NPR and PBS.

In his talk, Reid discussed the findings of his latest film, “U.S. Health Care: The Good News,” for which he traveled to regions of the country that had found ways to lower health care costs while continuing to deliver quality care. Audience members had the chance to ask Reid questions and were also encouraged to submit questions for the panel throughout the event.
