Nebraska woman dies in crash on I-93
DERRY – A Nebraska woman died after a car with seven passengers rolled over into the median of Interstate 93.
Cu Vong, 50, of Lincoln, Neb., was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday morning. The car’s driver and five other passengers were taken to local hospitals with various injuries.
The driver, Thuc Cao, 20, of Manchester, apparently fell asleep and drifted into the breakdown lane, state police said. He woke up when he ran over the rumble strips, over-corrected his steering and lost control of the car. The Oldsmobile Silhouette then rolled over into a wooded area of the median.
State police were investigating.
