Procon Inc. and The Kane Company are moving forward with a plan to build a warehouse and distribution facility at Pease International Tradeport.
The developers, who also operate as Aviation Avenue Group LLC., are proposing to work with Fidelitone, “a company that represents a nationwide home merchandising company,” to create a warehouse and distribution facility, according to Michael Mates, the Pease Development Authority’s director of engineering.
John Stebbins, managing director of Procon, described the end-user company as a “national furniture manufacturer and wholesaler.”
Development team officials estimated 30 to 70 people could work at the facility, and about 20 would be driving the box trucks that deliver the furniture.
Stebbins estimated that the proposed warehouse and distribution facility would be 102,000 square feet, with “all the furniture that’s going to be flowing through the facility … brought in trucks.”
