N.H. State Home Show ‘one of most successful in years’
Almost 10,000 visitors showed up for three-day event

The New Hampshire Home Builders Association’s 47th annual New Hampshire State Home Show held over the weekend at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester “was one of the most successful shows in years and really indicates that the economy continues to improve.”
That’s according to the association’s president and show chairman, Dick Benson, who said there were just shy of 10,000 visitors throughout the three-day show, with vendors reporting “many follow up appointments were made and it appears that people are ready to start projects that might have been on hold for awhile.”
The premiere sponsor of the show was Public Service of New Hampshire. Corporate sponsors were Merrimack County Savings Bank and The Granite Group.
At the grand opening of the show, Gov. Maggie Hassan spoke of the importance of the residential building and remodeling industry and helped the association unveil of its new name – it was formerly known as the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire — new logo and tag line.
