Michael Mitchroney, most recently assistant general manger of Simon Property Group’s 1 million-square-foot, 200-store Orlando International Premium Outlets and Orlando Outlet Marketplace in Orlando, Fla., has been named the new general manger of Settlers Green in North Conway.

He succeeds Dot Seybold, the longtime GM of Settlers Green, who several months ago announced plans to retire at the end of the year.

Mitchroney worked for Simon – the largest operator of shopping malls in the country – since 2015. Before Orlando, he worked at several other locations, including Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets in Connecticut, Clarksburg Premium Outlets in Maryland and Wrentham Village Premium Outlets in Massachusetts. Before that, he worked for Kohl’s as an operations manager.

Newton, Mass.-based OVP Management Inc., owner of the 500,00-square-foot Settlers Green, said Mitchroney was recruited through contacts in the real estate industry. The company cited his previous extensive experience that includes day-to-day management and long-term development of several outlet centers across the east coast of the United States.
