Marandos challenge seeks entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs with exemplary business ideas are invited to submit their concept papers in the second annual Tory C. Marandos Foundation Entrepreneurship Challenge.The challenge, administered by the Center for Women’s Business Advancement at Southern New Hampshire University, is named after late entrepreneur Tory Marandos.All active businesses and potential startups in New Hampshire, with fewer than three years in business, are eligible to participate. Interested entrepreneurs can submit a two-page initial business concept paper. After the May 18 submission deadline, a team of judges will choose 10 semi-finalists to move on to the next round where business plans will be requested.A group of five finalists will be determined by July 20 and the final competition and award dinner will take place on August 4. The winning business plan will receive $5,000.
