Man charged in overdose death
DERRY, N.H. (AP) – A Massachusetts man has been charged with trying to destroy evidence after a friend died of an apparent heroin overdose during the weekend.
Police haven’t released the victim’s name, but say he died early Saturday at his home in Derry. They are working to find relatives.
Investigators say Marco Oliverra, 29, of Somerville, Mass., attempted to get rid heroin left in the apartment by washing it down the sink.
