Lavallee Brensinger opens Maine branch

Lewandowski to head Portland office

Lavallee Brensinger Architects has opened a third office, this one in downtown Portland, Maine.

The office, at 305 Commercial St., joins the firm’s Manchester, NH, headquarters as well as its downtown Boston office.

The new office was opened “in response to more than 20 years of successful partnering with extraordinary organizations throughout Maine,” said CEO Richard Pizzi.

Among Lavallee Brensinger’s Maine clients have been Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, Colby College, Goodall Hospital, IDEXX Laboratories, Inland Hospital, Mid-Coast School of Technology, Morse High School and Riverview Psychiatric Recovery Center.

Pizzi said the new office will be headed by Paul Lewandowski, who joins the firm with over two decades of experience planning and designing innovative projects for corporate, civic, health care and education clients.

Also among those recently added to Lavallee Brensinger's staff are Alice M. Carey, who has an extensive background in master planning and design for education and civic clients, and Eric F. Giuliano, who has nearly 20 years of experience in project management, project documentation and detailing.

In addition, new members of the firm's design team are Shellie McClallen, who specializes in health care and corporate architecture; Ryan Tirrell, interior designer with a background in sustainability; Scott R. Graham, a March graduate from the Wentworth Institute of Technology; Kathleen Porter, business development manager; and Rebecca Tildesley, marketing coordinator.
