Newport-based Lake Sunapee Bank has announced plans to expand farther south in New Hampshire with a branch in Milford.
Stephen Ensign, president and CEO of the bank, said Lake Sunapee will open its new full-service banking office at the corner of Elm and Cottage streets in Milford.
He said that all local and regulatory permits have been obtained and construction has begun on the 2,100-square-foot facility. Besides retail customer services, the branch also will focus on both Mortgage Origination and Small Business Services.
Ensign said the Milford area is “well-suited to the bank’s personalized-service approach.”
