Laconia: Lewis & Saunders, a manufacturer of rigid tube assemblies for the aerospace industry, has announced plans to hire 100 new workers. Lewis & Saunders, whose clients include the private sector as well as the military, is part of Smiths’ Specialty Engineering division, which produces mechanical seals, electrical interconnects, marine systems, and tubular systems and flexible technologies.
