A new Monadnock Region business incubator has been born.
With the purchase on July 1 of the former W.W. Cross building in Jaffrey, Monadnock Business Ventures has launched the Webster Street Incubator.
The building, which is currently being renovated, will bring to more than 50,000 square feet the amount of low-cost office and manufacturing space for start-up and growing businesses in the Contoocook Valley region.
The Webster Street Incubator has six loading docks, plenty of parking and storage space. All offices will be equipped with high-speed broadband Internet access and will have access to shared office services.
In addition to low-cost rent, MBV provides no-cost business counseling and funding referrals.
Both manufacturing and office space are available. Occupancy of the remodeled space will begin Sept. 1.
Monadnock Business Ventures also currently operates the Whiton Building, a 77,000-square-foot business incubator space in Peterborough.
