House fire contained
NASHUA- A residence on 35 East Dunstable Road suffered some peripheral damage Saturday, but firefighters contained a fire to a second-story bedroom.
No one was home when the fire started at 1:24 p.m., Deputy Fire Chief Michael O’Brien said. Its cause is undetermined, but it is not suspicious, he said.
The second floor had smoke, heat and water damage, and the first floor had some smoke damage, O’Brien said. He was unsure how firefighters were alerted.
