Final 2nd C.D. debates set at NEC

The Center for Civic Engagement at New England College in Henniker will play host next month to the final 2nd Congressional District debates of the 2010 primary season.Media partners in the debates are New Hampshire Business Review, the Concord Monitor, NHPoliticalReport.com and WGIR radio.Democratic candidates Ann McLane Kuster and Katrina Swett will debate on Friday, Sept. 10, followed by the Republican candidates on the 11th. The three Republican hopefuls are Charlie Bass, Robert Giuda and Jennifer Horn.Primary voters will be going to the polls Tuesday, Sept. 14.”The Concord Monitor, New Hampshire Business Review, NHPoliticalReport.com, and WGIR radio have all demonstrated a firm commitment to covering these pivotal New Hampshire races and ensuring that the citizens of this state have access to the candidates and their positions on the most pressing topics. Questions will be prepared by a panel made up of Felice Belman, editor of the Concord Monitor, Jeff Feingold, editor of NHBR, James Pindell, political analyst and editor of the NHPoliticalReport.com, and Charlie Sherman, WGIR morning host.Further questions are being be solicited from the public by the media partners and will be asked during the course of the one-hour debates.
