Family-friendly policies focus of NH Women’s Foundation luncheon
CEO of MomsRising to keynote Nov. 19 luncheon
Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, CEO and co-founder of the organization MomsRising, will be the keynote speaker at the 11th annual Women Building Community Luncheon, the cornerstone event for the NH Women’s Foundation.
The event, co-presented with the NH Charitable Foundation and Granite United Way, takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Center of New Hampshire/Radisson Hotel in Manchester. Lead sponsor is Pax World Funds.
The theme of this year’s luncheon is “Changing Workplaces: Why Family-Friendly Policies Matter.” At the event, Rowe-Finkbeiner, will speak about the importance of changing workplace policies to reflect the needs of modern families.
“We believe that creating family-friendly workplaces is essential to overcoming gender-based stigmas and outdated traditions and is therefore essential to achieving economic gender equality – a key component of our mission and vision,: said Terie Norelli, CEO of the Women’s Foundation.
She called Rowe-Finkbeiner “a tireless national advocate for American families.”
