Crash victim still critical
PELHAM – A local man remained in critical condition after crashing his pickup into a tree Sunday night.
Charles Jerrett, 49, of Pelham was listed in critical condition Monday at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, where he was flown after the accident.
Firefighters pried Jerrett out from the wreckage of his truck after it crashed into a tree on Poplar Hill Road near the Massachusetts line shortly after 8 p.m. Jerrett suffered head, chest and abdominal injuries, the fire department reported.
