MASON – Mason MOMS, in conjunction with the Town Recreation Committee, will present a family concert featuring Amy Conley from noon-1 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Town Hall.
All proceeds will benefit the Town Playground Fund.
Conley is known throughout the area for her lively movement songs on banjo, guitar and harmonica, her humorous puppets and her two recordings for children, “I Sing Every Day” and “Grow Your Own Music.”
She directs Music Together of Milford and Manchester, a program serving more than 100 families with music/movement classes for children from birth to 7 years old and their parents.
Conley has performed with the trio “Folkenergy!” and most recently with fiddle player Doc Rudolph.
This concert is appropriate for all ages, particularly those younger than 8, and includes audience participation.
Tickets are $3 per person, $10 for families.
A hot dog lunch may be purchased before the concert at 11:30 a.m.
