Chimney fire damages home
NASHUA -Firefighters confined a fire that started in a home’s chimney early Sunday morning.
A charcoal grill connected to the chimney at 55½ New Dunstable Road was the cause, and firefighters had to rip apart the walls of the surrounding partition to confine it, Deputy Fire Chief Robert Burnham said Tuesday.
No one was injured, and the house is still habitable, Burnham said. Three engines and a pump truck responded.
