Charitable 'Thunder'

Mixed martial arts fighter Justin Hammerstrom and H20 Waste Disposal are teaming up to assist in raising money for the Harris Jones Fund.

Hammerstrom, Milford High School’s cafeteria manager, also known as “The Ultimate Lunch Lady,” will be fighting for the first time in front of a hometown crowd April 25 at Hampshire Hills Hampshire Dome in an event billed as “Thunder in the Dome.”

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Hammerstrom at 943-0069 or Justinh@ bostonbrawler.com. Tickets can also be purchased at Hammerstrom’s mixed martial arts equipment and apparel store, Boston Brawler, at 175 Main St., Nashua.

H2O Waste Disposal Services of Milford is donating $5 for every ticket Hammerstrom sells to the “Thunder in the Dome” event, up to $1,000, to the Harris Jones fund.

Harris Jones, the son of Milford High School football coach Keith Jones, was involved in a snowmobile accident in January that resulted in severe injuries to his leg.
