Chambers get ready for ‘Bridging the Seacoast’ expo
Seven Seacoast area chambers of commerce in southern Maine and New Hampshire have been hosting an annual business-to-business expo for 17 years.
Called “Bridging the Seacoast,” the event is a significant bi-state effort to create a larger and more powerful marketplace for area businesses.
The event will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Flextronics at Pease International Tradeport. It is underwritten by PSNH and sponsored by Exertus Technologies, Feliciano Limousine, Unitil, LifeSize Graphics, D.F. Richard, Northeast Credit Union and Laconia Savings Bank.
New Hampshire Business Review will once again be a media partner. The New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development and Employers Support of the Guard and Reserve will again be presenting partners.
Sponsoring chambers are the Dover, Rochester, Somersworth, Hampton, Portsmouth, Exeter and York, Maine, chambers of commerce. The expo is open to chamber members and their guests.
The expo will kick off with a luncheon at noon in the cafeteria of the Flextronics building. Cost is $20 per person and includes lunch and admission to the expo. Reservations are required for the luncheon, with seating limited.
Several workshops will be offered throughout the afternoon.
During the expo, from 5 to 7 p.m., the event will become a joint chamber Business After Hours. A cash bar as well as refreshments will be provided by Galley Hatch Catering. Also providing refreshments will be the Governor’s Inn, Spring Hill, the Weathervane and Granite Rose.
