Ayotte presentation to be featured at 2018 NH Energy Summit

Former New Hampshire U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte will be among the speakers at this year’s NH Energy Summit, slated for Monday, Sept. 24, at the  Holiday Inn in Concord.

Ayotte will give attendees an overview emerging public policy at the executive, regulatory and congressional levels.

The event will also feature a presentation by Dan Dolan, president of the New England Power Generators Association, who will provide an update on regional energy issues and developments.

Also on tap will be:

 • Presentations on energy projects under development in the region – including gas pipeline and storage development, utility-scale solar projects, municipal mid-level solar, regional bulk energy facilities and advancements in energy efficiency – and their impact on New Hampshire energy markets and public policy

 • A panel looking at the development, siting and deployment of energy storage facilities

 • A panel discussion on the future of energy market restructuring in New Hampshire, featuring attorney Carol Holahan of Foley & Hoag, NH Consumer Advocate Don Kreis, Bob Bersak of Eversource and Dan Allegretti of Exelon Corp.

In addition, candidates for governor as well as U.S. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan have been invited to present at the summit.
