Breeze Airways announces service to Orlando and Fort Myers from Portsmouth

Breeze Airways, which debuted in New Hampshire last month with service from Manchester, plans to start flying to Orlando and Fort Myers from Portsmouth in October, the low-cost carrier announced Wednesday. The 3-year-old airline offers point-to-point service from 58 U.S. destinations on its new fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft. It plans flights from Pease International Airport to Orlando on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning Oct. 9, and to Fort Myers on Thursdays and Sundays beginning Oct. 10.

ReGen Valley to receive $44 million through federal Tech Hubs program

The Manchester effort to escalate the mass production of human tissue and organs has been earmarked for $44 million from the federal government, officials announced Tuesday. ReGen Valley” — the marketing moniker for the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute — is one of 12 Tech Hubs selected for funding by U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration.

Life sciences trade group announces founding member companies

New Hampshire Life Sciences (NHLS), a newly formed trade group that supports the Granite State’s life sciences industry, has signed two companies that employ hundreds of workers as its inaugural founding members.
