Austin IT recruitment firm selects Portsmouth for East Coast office

Location will serve growing Boston area client base

Triple Crown Consulting, an Austin, Texas-based IT recruitment firm has opened its first East Coast office in Portsmouth.

The office opening is to the company's growing East Coast business. Triple Crown was founded in 2004 in Austin, Texas, and grew to the West Coast by first expanding to Phoenix, Arizona and then San Jose, California. Today, East Coast clients represent nearly 25 percent of its business, and the expansion to Portsmouth is part of the company’s plan to double its growth in 2018. The Portsmouth office will be led by Kyle Raymond.

Triple Crown chose Portsmouth as the hub for its Northeast operations to support its existing client base in the area, connect with new clients, offer East Coast-based tech projects to Triple Crown’s network of high-caliber tech professionals, and gain access to the talent graduating from local colleges and universities. Business in the Boston area has contributed to a significant part of the company’s recent revenue spike, and the new office enables Triple Crown to better support this market.

Kyle Raymond relocated to Portsmouth from Triple Crown’s headquarters in Austin, where he served as a business unit manager. As site manager of Triple Crown’s Portsmouth office, Raymond will build a team to bring clients the same recruiting speed and efficiency as the company’s West Coast operations. Raymond, who has hired five new employees and plans to hire up to 12-14 total, is joined by recruiting team lead Ryan Rooney to develop the business.
