Annual New Hampshire energy symposium slated for Dec. 5

Policies, trends to be focus of daylong BIA event

New Hampshire’s energy policies, a constant topic of debate at the State House in Concord, will be the focus of the Business and Industry Association’s 2019 New Hampshire Energy Symposium Dec. 5 in Manchester.

Topics of the event, which is being presented in partnership with the New England Ratepayers Association and the American Petroleum Institute, will include:

  • A look into New Hampshire’s electricity rates
  • Public Utilities Regulatory Policies Act reform
  • Renewable energy’s impact on system reliability
  • Barriers to natural gas availability in New England
  • Transportation and climate initiative and other emerging concepts

The full-day conference will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown Hotel.
