Analytics expert joins D-H system

Dr. Robert A. Greene, a national expert in health care analytics and new payment models, has joined Dartmouth-Hitchcock as executive vice president and chief population management officer.

Greene will have accountability and oversight for one of the three pillars of Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s sustainable health system: improving population health.

“This is a critical position as we work to create a sustainable health system that will improve the lives of the people and communities we serve, for generations to come,” noted Dartmouth-Hitchcock CEO and President Dr. James N. Weinstein.

Working in collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership, Weinstein said Greene will oversee operations for population health management and accountable care organization work across the Dartmouth-Hitchcock system. He will also play a key role in employee wellness and population health initiatives, working with programs at D-H and with partners in the community.

Greene previously worked at UnitedHealthcare in Minnetonka, Minn., where, as senior vice president for innovation and applied analytics, he was responsible for coordinating clinical performance measurement across the company.
