Agency offers after-school, ESL programs

The Salvation Army will begin its after-school program on Monday, Sept. 20.

The program will run from 3-6 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Children will be picked up at school by the Salvation Army, and the program will include homework assistance, nutritious snacks, recreation, a computer lab and other activities.

The program costs $25 per week per child.

The agency is also offering classes in English as a second language, which begin Monday, Sept. 27, at 1 Montgomery Ave. The classes will run from 6-9 p.m.

People can register in person on Monday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m., or by phone.
