Teen charged with assaulting brother

HUDSON – A 16-year-old boy allegedly beat his brother Tuesday night with a skateboard and brandished a knife at him.

The teenager has been charged with simple assault and criminal threatening. Police did not release his name.

According to police, the teen got into a fight with his 20-year-old brother. During the fight, he allegedly hit his brother with a skateboard and then pulled out a knife. Police were contacted at about 5 p.m.

The brother’s rib area was noticeably red, according to the police log. However, he did not require medical treatment, according to police.
