Betty Hall gets on Nov. ballot

Betty Hall has been confirmed as an independent candidate for the state Senate on the November ballot.

The Secretary of State office confirmed last week that Hall, 87, a town official and state representative for decades, had submitted enough voter signatures.

Hall needed 750 votes to be put on the ballot for the seat being vacated by David Gottesman, D-Nashua.

She will face Republican Paul LaFlamme and Democrat Peggy Gilmour.

Hall has served in the state House of Representatives since 1980, beginning as a Republican and switching to the Democratic Party four years later.
