Cianbro Corp. took home the top prize at the Associated Builders & Contractors NH/Vt. Chapter’s annual Excellence in Construction Awards ceremony.
Cianbro was presented with the Chairman’s Award – the biggest honor of the night – for its work on the new Sarah Mildred Long Bridge, which links Portsmouth with Kittery, Maine. The company also was presented with an Excellence Award for the Long Bridge project.
All told, 12 projects received Excellence or Merit’ awards at the Oct. 24 event, which was held Oct. 24 in Manchester.
The winning projects, selected from entries submitted from across Vermont and New Hampshire, were judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety and cost.
