Canada-U.S. trade will be subject of Rivier symposium
"Doing Business with Friends," a symposium focusing on trade between the United States and Canada, will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, at Rivier University in Nashua.
The event – presented by the university in collaboration with the New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center and the Consulate General of Canada — is designed to give attendees an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the Canada-U.S. trade relationship and what resources are available for U.S. businesses.
With opening remarks by Patrick G. Binns, consul general of Canada to New England, the symposium will include a panel featuring representatives of local businesses that have been involved in trade between the two countries. They will discuss their experiences and best practices.
A networking lunch will allow event attendees to connect with peers and industry specialists.
The Canada-U.S. Trade Symposium will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Dion Center on the Rivier University campus.
