Audley Williams, left, station manager for WPKQ, FM channel 103.7, presents the station’s “Year of Service” award to Sue Watson and Marie Demers of the Family Resource Center, a Gorham-based nonprofit that works to improve the health, welfare and educational needs of children and families in the North Country. In recognition of the center’s work, WPKQ and its parent company, Cumulus Media, will promote it for a year through a major public service campaign.
