Berlin eyes new industrial park

The city of Berlin may turn a 215-acre parcel of land into a new industrial park.

City officials seem poised to approve a feasibility study of the land, which is located directly north of the Maynesboro Industrial Park off East Milan Road, but it has not yet given the plan its OK.

The proposed three-phase, $59,000 study will be funded in part by a grant from the federal Economic Development Administration. – JEFF FEINGOLD
