UNH marketing program helps small businesses and students work together
Stonyfield, SNHU set ‘boot camp’
A two-day “boot camp” designed for community-minded entrepreneurs put together by Stonyfield Farm and the School of Community Economic Development at Southern New Hampshire University will be held June 9-10 at the university in Manchester.
Called The Stonyfield Farm Entrepreneurship Institute, the program will explore issues involved in operating a socially responsible business through an interactive setting of networking, storytelling and problem-solving.
Featured will be seasoned entrepreneurs — including Gary Hirshberg, president and CEO of Stonyfield Farm — and Michael Swack, dean of the School of CED. Both will “tell tales from the trenches” on the opening night, Thursday, June 9.
Friday, June 10, will feature case studies in finance, marketing and organizational development as well as the exploration by professional respondents of actual case studies submitted ahead of time by participants.
