Delta Dental among top firms to work for
Northeast Delta Dental of Concord was recently named among the top 50 “Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America” by the Society for Human Resource Management.
The company, which administers dental benefits to more than 650,000 people in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, was ranked the fourth “Best Small Company in America” by the human resources professionals organization.
“As we grow, we do our utmost to keep the heart and soul of a smaller organization,” said Thomas Raffio, Delta’s president and CEO. “We believe in listening to our employees, and we implement many of their suggestions.”
The society inaugurated the list this year, ranking the top 25 small and top 25 medium companies in the United States. The organizations, ranging in size from 50 to 999 employees, were selected and ranked by the Great Place to Work Institute, based primarily on an employee opinion survey.
Winning organizations appeared in the July issue of HR Magazine.
