
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) earlier this month announced its 2026 New Hampshire Small Business Award winners. Thomas Hartley, owner of Hartley Transportation in Pembroke, has been selected as 2026 SBA’s New Hampshire Small Business Person of the Year in recognition of Hartley’s leadership, innovation and contributions to his community through his business.
Other award winners were: Home-Based Business of the Year for NH and New England, Farm310 in Allenstown; Young Entrepreneur of the Year for NH and New England, Autotiv Manufacturing in Salem; Veteran-owned Small Business of the Year, Blaine Industries, Inc.
(dba Architectural Resource Center) in Northwood; Women-owned Small Business of the Year, Gray Consulting and Therapy LLC, in Hampstead; Small Business Manufacturer of the Year for NH and Rural Small Business of the Year for New England, Peter Limmer & Sons Inc. of Intervale; Micro-enterprise of the Year, One Earth Body Care LLC in Campton; Small Business Exporter of the Year, Andover Corporation in Salem; Jeffrey Butland Family-owned Business of the Year, Macy Industries Inc. and Approved Sheet Metal LLC, of Hooksett.

Award winners will be honored at the SBA’s 2026 Small Business Week celebration on May 7 at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, 2 Institute Drive, Concord, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
