Sox to rally in N.H. today
MANCHESTER – The World Series champion Boston Red Sox will continue their victory tour of New England today with a trip to New Hampshire.
The main event is a rally at 3 p.m. at Veterans Park in Manchester, featuring Red Sox officials and relief pitcher Alan Embree. The park is at the corner of Elm and Merrimack streets.
Prior to that, the World Series trophy will be on display at Manchester City Hall Plaza from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Sox also will take the trophy to the New Hampshire Veterans Home at 9 a.m., and attend a private reception at 2 p.m. at the Radisson Center of New Hampshire, hosted by the Manchester Sports Council.
