Teen hurt in crash in Merrimack
MERRIMACK – A local teen suffered minor injuries Friday night after a truck he was riding in crashed into a telephone pole at Merrimack High School. The teen, who police declined to identify because of his age, was transported by ambulance to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
The crash happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Merrimack High School. Police and fire crews responded to the parking lot and found what appeared to be a commercial truck crashed head-on into the pole.
The driver of the truck, also a juvenile from Merrimack, was not injured, police said. Merrimack police are investigating the cause of the crash.
