$1 million CRDC fund targeted for Sullivan County
April 3 informational session to provide details on eligible projects

Concord-based Capital Regional Development Council has more than $1 million in available funds to deploy for business development in Sullivan County and it has planned an event to let more people know about it.
An informational session to learn more about CRDC’s Sullivan Loan Fund will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, at Claremont MakerSpace, 46 Main St., Claremont. Registration is required at claremontmakerspace.org.
Stephen Heavener, CRDC’s executive director, said the Sullivan County Loan Fund can be used “to assist in the financing of redevelopment of high-visibility projects.”
He added that loan amounts are flexible, “but our portion cannot be more than 50 percent of the total project. We typically work closely with commercial lenders on filling financing gaps for small businesses and redevelopment projects.”
“We strongly encourage our local business community to join CRDC for this informational session to learn more about this loan program,” said Nancy Merrill, director of planning and development for the Claremont Development Authority. “There is a great opportunity for real estate development with CRDC, a reputable partner that has successfully helped New Hampshire’s economic redevelopment landscape.”
